OTTAWA, Ontario (January 30, 2015) February 16th will mark the PSCDA’s third annual Winter Family Fun Day in Portobello Park. Members of the Portobello South community are invited to come enjoy some fun outdoor activities like horse-drawn sleigh rides, bird-feeder workshops, snow games, hot chocolate and cookies.

OTTAWA, Ontario (August 5, 2014) The Portobello South Community Development Association (PSCDA) is thrilled to announce the return of its popular community barbeque with new rides and entertainment.

PSCDA president Pamela Moss, “This year we’re excited to present The Ocean, a 52-foot inflatable obstacle course for our older kids and teens, and live music courtesy of the Orleans’ School of Rock. This is in addition to our crowd favourites like Tumblers Gymnastics and new Tae Kwon Do demonstrations.  This should be our best BBQ yet!”

OTTAWA, Ontario (January 29, 2014) Members of the Portobello South community are invited to come out this Family Day for some fun outdoor activities. The second annual Portobello South Community Development Association (PSCDA) Winter Family Fun Day will take place on Monday, February 17th from 1-3PM. Horse-drawn sleigh rides, bird-feeder workshops, snow games, hot chocolate and cookies will be among the free activities.

OTTAWA, Ontario (October 25, 2013) The Portobello South Community Development Association (PSCDA), the body representing the interests of area residents along the Portobello Boulevard South in Orléans, will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) November 20th at the Aquaview Community Hall to discuss events, projects and issues facing our east-Ottawa community.

PSCDA President Pamela Moss shares a new initiative leading into the AGM to better align the association`s priorities with key issues and the needs of residents,

“We want to encourage residents to buy local. Why drive downtown when we have all the best bargains and treasures right here in Orléans?” PSCDA President, Pamela Moss.

 

OTTAWA, Ontario (February 20, 2013) An enthusiastic crowd of over 500 gathered in Portobello Park for the Portobello South Community Development Association’s (PSCDA) inaugural Winter Family Fun Day to enjoy outdoor activities.

OTTAWA, Ontario (November 20, 2012) The Portobello South Community Development Association (PSCDA), the body representing the interests of area residents along the Portobello Boulevard, including the neighbourhoods of Avalon, Notting Gate and Notting Hill in Orleans, held its annual general meeting November 13th at the Aquaview Community Hall. Over 25 interested area residents turned out to discuss projects and issues facing the east-Ottawa community.

OTTAWA, Ontario (December 15, 2011) The Portobello South Community Development Association (PSCDA) has forwarded several critical amendments to the City of Ottawa following a public presentation of the Trim Road Realignment plans held November 29th at the Fallingbrook South Community Center. The PSCDA believes that, while the realignment plan is generally sound, some modifications are necessary to protect public safety and ensure the proper flow of traffic and pedestrians through two of the five proposed roundabouts.

OTTAWA, Ontario (December 5, 2011) The Portobello South Community Development Association (PSCDA), the body representing the interests of area residents along the Portobello Boulevard, including the neighbourhoods of Avalon, Notting Gate and Notting Hill in Orleans, held its annual general meeting November 15th at the South Fallingbrook Community Centre. Over 30 area residents engaged in an animated discussion of projects and issues facing the east-Ottawa community, notably the Habitat for Humanity and eco-park projects slated for development along the North side of Nantes Street.
